Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate, guest focused Assistant Manager to join our Delta Sky Club (MSP) team! This is a critical role; our Assistant Manager partners with the leadership team to ensure we wow our guests with exceptional food & beverage offerings. and delightful guest experiences.
As an Assistant Manager, you are responsible for assisting with the overall management of food service operations in the Delta Sky Club (Minneapolis - MSP - airport location), keeping with all corporate and brand standards. You will maximize profitability, as well as ensure an exceptional guest experience. You will lead a team of engaged and passionate hospitality professionals who share in your mission to make the Sky Club truly an oasis for the Sky Club members. You are a critical F&B leadership team member, always laser focused on quality food & beverage products, an immaculately clean environment, and an exceptional culture of "guest first" (always)!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Assists with managing food service operations in accordance with the approved budget while providing the client with the maximum value for the dollars spent.
+ Ensures the food offered to the client, customers, and associates of the operation is of superior quality.
+ Assists with purchasing and inventory oversight and auditing
+ Maintains excellent relationships with associates, guests and client, as well as, other departments within the operation.
+ Trains and mentors the hourly Sky Club team members - instills a level of consistency and ownership needed to ensure a high quality Sky Club experience
Qualifications:
+ 2 years of food service supervisory experience.- Must have open availability (days/nights/weekends)
+ Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.
+ Comprehensive knowledge of food; a passion for hospitality
+ Financial experience and business acumen skills.
+ ServSafe Certification is preferred.
+ Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet.
+ Associate’s degree is preferred.
