We are on the hunt for a driven and experienced Permanent Assistant Manager (Quality Control) to join our dynamic team in the Construction Industry. Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Assistant Manager (Quality Control), your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Managing and coordinating all quality control activities on-site.
2. Ensuring that all construction activities comply with quality standards and examining the functionality of work performed.
3. Conducting regular inspections and tests, identifying any faults or issues, and initiating corrective actions.
4. Overseeing the material testing processes and ensuring they meet the project's quality standards.
5. Identifying root causes of quality issues and implementing effective corrective actions.
6. Ensuring compliance with safety standards in line with OSHA and MSHA regulations.
7. Collaborating with the project manager and other construction team members to establish and implement the quality control program.
8. Training and guiding staff on quality control measures, standards, and procedures.
9. Preparing and presenting quality reports to management.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality control role within the construction industry.
2. A valid ACI Certification.
3. Proven experience with lab testing, field Grade level 1, polymer, wash, and chemical.
4. Solid understanding of quality control standards and testing methodologies.
5. Strong knowledge of OSHA and MSHA regulations.
6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience with root cause analysis.
7. Strong communication and leadership skills.
8. The ability to work well as part of a team and to make decisive decisions when necessary.
9. Proficient in using computer software and applications relevant to the job.
