CTG is seeking to fill an Assistant Manager opening for our client in Pleasanton, CA.
Location: Pleasanton, CA
Duration: 10 months
Duties:
- Lead the close and forecast processes for Legal and HR Administrative expense spending.
- Provide management with accurate business results and analysis to support decision-making and spending prioritization.
- Assist the Functional Planning team on close and forecast processes for other functional areas.
- Support the launch of Anaplan and S4 Hana for US/Corp Admin expenses, including responsibility over Legal, HR, and other Administrative expense spending.
- Actively participate in all Elevate (System transformation) training, testing, and other requested activities with a receptive and engaged attitude.
- Support ad-hoc projects on an as-needed basis.
Skills:
- Strong Financial Analysis skills.
- Strong planning, organizing, communication, collaboration, presentation, and influencing skills.
- Effective leadership and communication with senior leadership.
- Ability to streamline and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the close and forecast process.
- Strong computer literacy across the Microsoft Office suite, including excellent Excel skills.
Experience:
- 7+ years of Finance and Accounting experience.
- Very strong in Accounting, including assessing proper journal entries that need to be booked (with supporting documentation).
- SAP Financial Systems experience.
- Anaplan experience is a plus.
- CPA is a plus.
- Ability to take personal ownership and ensure timely responses to customer needs.
- Experience in driving team engagement.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position is $59.19 per hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
