Description:
The Assistant Manager works alongside the General Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the restaurant. You will develop your team to the highest standards while grooming them for career opportunities. You will provide leadership and a positive work environment while ensuring the continued success and profitability of the restaurant.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining an effective restaurant through recruiting, hiring and training team members, while understanding and demonstrating Pizza Roto's standards, policies and procedures
- Preparing schedules that meet the needs of the restaurant while controlling labor costs
- Building sales and managing budgets
- Assisting the General Manager in administrative duties such as payroll, inventory, ordering, cash handling, etc.
- Motivating and working with team members to perform at their highest level of ability
- Ensuring that correct inventory levels are kept and all equipment is maintained to quality standards
- Ensuring that customers are serviced at the highest level of satisfaction through quality food, courteous staff and quick response to needs
- Supervising your team in accordance with established performance and operating policies as set in our company guidelines
- Acting as General Manager when General Manager is not present
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of assistant management/supervisory experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting, with experience preferably in fast-casual dining
- Strong math skills
- Computer literacy
- Oral and written communication skills
- Reliable transportation
$15-18 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
