Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as an Assistant Property Manager. The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional leadership qualities, a strong sense of accountability, and legendary customer service skills. This role involves showcasing available apartments, managing tenant relations, supporting property operations, and ensuring a smooth leasing process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Showcase Properties: Conduct property tours and highlight the benefits of living in our community to potential residents.
- Lease Agreements: Prepare and manage leasing paperwork, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to current and prospective tenants, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Marketing: Assist with marketing efforts to attract new tenants, including social media, online listings, and community events.
- Tenant Relations: Foster positive relationships with residents to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Support Management: Assist the Property Manager in daily operations, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations.
- Financial Management: Help manage property budgets, rent collections, and financial reporting.
- Maintenance Oversight: Coordinate maintenance requests and ensure timely completion of work orders.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including fair housing laws.
Qualifications:
- Leadership: Ability to take initiative and lead by example, fostering a positive team environment. Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, promoting a positive and productive workplace.
- Accountability: Strong sense of responsibility and ability to follow through on commitments. High level of integrity and reliability in managing responsibilities.
- Customer Service: Exceptional interpersonal skills and a dedication to providing legendary service. Strong commitment to delivering exceptional service and creating a welcoming community environment.
- Experience: Previous experience in property management or a related field is preferred. Minimum of 2 years in property management or a related field, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Technology: Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software.
