Join Our Team: Assistant Manager in Gulf Coast, Florida
Summary: As an Assistant Manager, you will help improve our food service operations by supporting overall management. You'll work in a medium to large-volume location and ensure corporate and brand standards are met. You'll also contribute to strategic sales and marketing initiatives to increase profitability and improve the dining experience for all.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Operational Support: Assist in managing food service operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and high-quality service that aligns with budgetary goals.
+ Quality Assurance: Ensure that the food served meets outstanding quality standards for clients, customers, and associates.
+ Procurement & Inventory: Aid in purchasing and inventory management, ensuring the availability of supplies while maintaining cost control.
+ Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain excellent relationships with associates, guests, clients, and other departments to foster collaboration and fulfillment.
+ Strategic Initiatives: Support the development and execution of innovative sales and marketing strategies to drive profitability and community engagement.
+ Other Duties: Embrace additional responsibilities as assigned to meet the evolving needs of the operation and community.
Qualifications:
+ 2-4 years of food service management experience, preferably in high-energy environments such as restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, or health care settings.
+ Comprehensive knowledge of food service operations, including preparation, presentation, and quality control.
+ Strong competence in financial management and business operations.
+ Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant tools.
+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across various levels of an organization.
Education & Certification:
+ An associate’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
+ ServSafe Certification is highly desirable.
