Kyle’s Kitchen is an award winning, socially responsible restaurant chain in the Santa Barbara, CA area. Inspired by the owner’s son Kyle, who was born with special needs, Kyle’s Kitchen donates a portion of sales to help people with special needs reach their potential.
Aside from Kyle’s giving back business model, Kyle’s Kitchen is well renowned for its great burgers, chicken sandwiches and salads. We bake our buns fresh daily from our commissary, use only the best quality ingredients, and do so all in a value oriented manner.
Assistant Manager Role:
1) To take ownership of the restaurant, especially if management is not there
2) Manage labor and keep staff productive / taking initiative on cleaning tasks, shift prep & operational organization
3) Holding cashiers and kitchen personnel responsible for restaurant expectations
4) Handle customer inquiries & complaints
5) Recognize the good things and filter that back to GM
6) Identify and address employee issues regarding uniform compliance, tardiness, productivity, lack of effort, etc and communicate back to manager
7) Take an active role in setting the example, training away any deficiencies, and be willing to do the most humble tasks like cleaning the toilets or doing the dishes
