Overview:
Act as an extension of the General Manager taking ownership of all aspects of the restaurant especially if GM is not there - the restaurant is a reflection of the entire team, not just the managers. We want to develop leaders who will set the example of not just being a clock puncher trying to leave as soon as they can, but individuals who take pride in their work by doing it right the first time, even if it takes a little longer and ensuring our team members are held accountable to the standards we have to help us continue to grow.
All responsibilities below are a support to the General Manager, they are leading the way and your support is essential in combination with them and especially in their absence.
Responsibilities:
- Help lead and supervise a team of FOH & BOH employees during shifts
- Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction
- Assist in managing and resolving customer complaints or issues
- Train and develop team members on company policies and procedures
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness & sanitation standards
- Hold team members accountable for completing opening, closing & side work responsibilities based on posted checklists
- Oversee catering order preparation and execution
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a supervisory role required
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and different shifts
