The company has a new opportunity for an immediate starting Assistant Financial Controller who is a working towards a CPA to assist them with their growth and development and offers a great opportunity to get involved with a growing company.

This Award winning company is looking for an Assistant Financial Controller who possesses not only a fantastic strategic financial mind but also oodles of ambition drive and is a great people person with entrepreneurial skills. The role is based just South of Fort Myers.

Responsibilities

• Help prepare US GAAP-based financial statements for month-end, quarter-end & year-end statements
• Assist with FP&A (financial planning, capital planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and analyses for all restaurant operations
• Help maximise efficiencies from an an accounting perspective ensuring compliance at all times.
• Analyze financial performance of business units, and perform project financial analysis and financial modelling to determine sales breakeven points, revenue/costs, profitability, operating margins, and pricing
• Manage finances of the group of restaurants and real estate holdings including P&Ls, budgets, forecasting & financial performance
• Consolidation of accounts and identifying areas for both cost savings and growth
• Build, strengthen and oversee financial controls that inform and support ownership in a fast paced, fun, friendly and professional environment
• Oversee Budget forecasting and cash flow management
• Ensure government compliance in all tasks
• Willingness to take on no job too big or small as a team player.

Qualifications & requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 2+ years experience in the area
• Some Accounting training ideally at a practice.
• Proficiency with current financial software
• Understanding of US GAAP
• Fantastic communicator, listener and has the ability to deliver technical information to the board

Compensation:

• Base salary commensurate with experience $85-100k
• Annual Performance Bonus of up to 25%
• Annual compensation review
