Duties
- Assist in managing daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service and adherence to company policies.
- Supervise and train staff in food handling, customer service, and cash handling procedures.
- Oversee shift management, ensuring that all shifts are adequately staffed and that team members are performing their duties effectively.
- Monitor food production processes to maintain quality standards and compliance with health regulations.
- Assist in budgeting and financial management by tracking expenses and implementing cost-control measures.
- Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork and effective communication among staff members.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager on special events, promotions, and menu changes.
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management is essential.
- Strong knowledge of cash handling procedures and financial management skills.
- Excellent team management abilities with a focus on training and development.
- Familiarity with food handling regulations and safety standards is required.
- Strong budgeting skills to assist in financial planning and resource allocation.
- Ability to manage shifts effectively while ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Experience in supervising staff in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food production processes is an asset.
