About the Job
Responsible for the effective management and delivery of care to patients for efficient operational workflows. Provides support in day-to-day operations of medical imaging department while ensuring adherence to organization's safety and quality standards. Maintains logs of appropriate usages of medical supplies and equipment relevant to the department. Stays abreast of latest imaging protocols in the market and advocates adoption of best practices.
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Ensures efficient operational workflows to include standardized patient care and promote timely customer access for the imaging program.
2. Assists in timely processing of patients while prioritizing emergency cases, minimizing patient wait time, and optimizing turn around time while adhering to organization's quality standards.
3. Analyzes data to monitor clinical, operational, and financial outcomes, as well as department's quality norms; coordinates quality control program across the organization.
4. Ascertains appropriate usage and maintains appropriate levels of medical imaging supplies and related equipment.
5. Provides support to technicians and nurses in pre and post procedure to ensure quality patient care.
6. Identifies opportunities and recommends improved medical imaging protocols to meet overall business objectives.
7. Ensures integrity of patient medical images and related medical data in order to adhere with patient confidentiality guidelines and regulations.
8. Performs other related duties as assigned.
