The Role

The Assistant Manager Contact Center is responsible for the supervision, planning, organizing, and managing all aspects of the Contact Center.  The incumbent partners closely with other Contact Center management to ensure staff is trained and adheres to all policies and procedures. 

What Will You Do?

• Leads the day-to-day operations for a call center and delivers effective resource planning to maximize resource productivity.
• Collects and analyzes call-center statistics for sales rates, costs, and customer service metrics.
• Assumes responsibility for budgeting and tracking expenses.
• Manages operational efficiencies of the team (e.g., workflow, performance, and compliance), as well as ensuring achievement of team goals within established timelines and budgets.
• Manages team performance through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional services and engagement, motivation, and team development.

What Will You Bring?

• BA/BS Degree (4-year)
• 5 years of related experience in customer service
• Experience leading, mentoring and/or coaching is preferred
• Experience in a high-volume call center is preferred
• Adept at collaboration and teamwork
• Adept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills
• Ability to grow a team, reduce attrition and coach/develop a staff of 18+
• Knowledge of execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills
• Knowledge of business intelligence
• Knowledge of problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Knowledge of digital literacy skills.

• Familiarity with Five9, ZenDesk, Satisfi, Community, eWFM, and Call Miner
