Langdon Farms Golf Club is a beautiful public golf course located just south of Wilsonville, Oregon. We hold numerous events annually and are now accepting applications for an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager
The purpose of the Assistant F&B Manager is to be a front-line representative for the Langdon Farms F&B Department. They will help create and support an environment that achieves the highest possible levels of employee and guest satisfaction, assist in training staff, lead by example and maintain collaborative relationships with individuals in all departments. They will follow the direction of the F&B Director and be a leader of the team with an emphasis on quality, presentation, innovation, efficiency, encouragement and accountability.
- Have a working knowledge of state liquor laws and health and safety standards.
- Daily cash handling procedures and Lotto paperwork.
- Assist in leading all aspects of Food and Beverage from opening to close of daily operations, while monitoring labor in an efficient, productive and profitable manner.
- Have complete menu knowledge, including the cost of individual menu items.
- Have both front and back of the house skills and knowledge.
- Assist in maintaining inventory best practices.
- Assist in all aspects of F&B operations (Social Events, Golf Tournaments, Langdon's Grill, etc.).
- Expedite food orders and maintain the highest quality standards.
- Communicate effectively and efficiently with staff, F&B Director, and other departments.
- Assist in training new staff.
- Two years experience in the Food and Beverage industry or related field preferred.
- Must possess computer proficiency and demonstrated skills in accounting.
- Strong organizational, intrapersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. overhead and up to 50lbs waist-high.
- Constant bending, turning, kneeling and stooping.
- Exposure to hot and cold temperatures, environmental conditions, and fumes.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods.
- Repetitive motion required including computer entry.
- Must be able to fluently speak, read and write the English language.
- Must be able to operate a motorized vehicle, including a golf cart, in a safe manner.
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must possess valid OLCC Alcohol Service Permit and Oregon Food Handlers Card.
- Valid Driver s License.
- Must be presentable and conform to the employee dress code of Langdon Farms Golf Club.
- Strong analytical and listening skills.
