Slim Chickens is seeking a highly motivated Assistant Manager to oversee daily operations and drive staff development. As part of a rapidly growing franchise, this role offers significant growth potential for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage all restaurant operations to meet food quality, service, and sanitation standards.
· Lead, coach, and develop Shift Leaders and hourly staff.
· Oversee inventory management and ensure adequate stock levels.
· Recruit, hire, and train high-quality team members.
· Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
Management Responsibilities:
· Adjust employee schedules to ensure all shifts are properly covered.
· Build a pipeline of talent, developing Aces, Trainers, Shift Leaders, and Managers in Training.
Leadership Qualities:
· Communicate clearly with staff, guests, and vendors.
· Resolve employee concerns and delegate tasks effectively.
Work Environment:
· Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed.
· Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
· Frequent interaction with guests and team members.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
· 2-5 years of restaurant management or leadership experience.
· Strong communication and organizational skills.
· Professional demeanor with an outgoing and positive attitude.
