A well-known, stable home builder is looking to bring on an Assistant/Junior Estimator!
They offer competitive compensation with an excellent benefit package. This position requires a minimum of 3+ years of experience.
Assistant/Junior Estimator Core Responsibilities Include:
- Estimators are responsible for developing accurate and complete job estimates.
- Obtains bids from vendors and subcontractors by specifying materials; identifying qualified subcontractors; negotiating price.
- Maintains cost keys and price masters by updating information.
- Resolves cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
- Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Assistant/Junior Estimator Skills and Qualifications:
- 3+ years of Estimating Experience within the residential construction
- College Degree Preferred
- Knowledge of various estimating software
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of blueprints and specifications
- Ability to meet deadlines
