Responsibilities & Essential Functions:
- Identify and Solve Issues / Problems on a Daily basis
- Maintain Comprehensive Filing systems
- Work with safety department to notify drivers of DOT issues.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in managing logistics documentation and records.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, to assist in effectively interacting with customers, suppliers, or employees within the company.
- Comply with all DOT on the road safety measures.
- Strategic coordination of schedules – equipment and driver utilization, coordinate outsourcing as necessary to minimize cost.
- Dispatch Experience (Drayage Preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to coach and assist team members, all while being part of a high-performance team.
- Ability to multi-task
- Flexible schedule. On-call duties as needed. Weekend hours.
- Data entry
- Desire to grow, learn and work in a team environment
- Excellent sense of urgency
- Ensure payroll accuracy for assigned drivers.
- Must possess basic understanding/knowledge of the transportation industry.
- Adhere to company policies and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations, promoting a culture of safety and compliance.
- Coordinating incoming deliveries with receiving team.
- Import Container Tracking
