Previous automotive experience is preferred. One year of retail/hospitality management experience is required. The primary function of the Assistant Store Manager position is to provide an excellent experience for our customers and oversee the operations of the store. They work hands on to assist the General Manager in the daily operations of their location and are responsible for customer interaction, training, directing, and coaching employees in all areas of operations. In addition, they oversee bank deposits as well as inventory and cash control in the General Managers absence. This position is essential to our overall guest experience and the Assistant Store Manager is expected to meet company goals by providing clear direction and setting a positive example for attitude, professionalism, and work ethic. Some of the key duties of this position will include:
- Directing the staff and ensuring that all procedures are completed properly.
- Interacting with customers and resolving any issues.
- Opening/Closing the location.
- Maintaining service standards
What do we require of you?
The must haves:
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Age 18 or older.
- Ability to speak, read and write English.
- Ability to speak effectively with customers and employees.
- Can complete the required computer-based training (CBT) modules.
- Attendance is an essential function of employment, and you must be timely and ready to work your scheduled shifts.
The physical requirements:
This position will require the employee to regularly service cars. Thus, while performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to:
Stand and walk.
- Use hands, and fingers to feel, reach with hands and arms.
- Able to lift objects up to 25 pounds and transfer from one height to another.
- Able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
- Able to communicate clearly.
