Gulph Creek Hotels, a well-respected hotel owner and operator seeks a passionate and energetic individual to join our team as an Assistant General Manager in the Philadelphia market.  The Assistant General Manager will have the opportunity to build and lead a talented and energetic team fully committed to delivering an exceptional guest experience.

We are proudly seeking a passionate, highly involved, visible and energetic Assistant General Manager to lead the hotel team.  The Assistant General Manager will be responsible for the following:

• Lead, Develop, recommend, implement and manage the hotel's front desk team and guest service initiatives.
• Manage human resource functions including training, hiring, coaching, counseling, and discipline.
• Complete daily, weekly, monthly and annual management reporting.
• Participate in sales, marketing, and yield management efforts at the property to maximize revenue.
• Direct the teal to exceed service and quality standards

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of front desk procedures.
• A professional career track record of achievement and relative job stability.
• A passionate leader that can instill his or her drive, energy, ambition, sense of urgency and attention to detail to the entire management team and in turn all employees.
• Strong communication skills, both in writing and speaking.
• Open to working nights, weekends and holidays as required.
• Hands-on approach to management not afraid to roll up their sleeves and pitch in to ensure all departments are supported.
