Position Description:
The Meeting House (MH) & Godfrey's Bakery Café (GBC) Assistant Manager (AM) will support the General Manager (GM) during the day shift and be responsible for the GM duties when the GM is not available. Your central goal is to provide guests with outstanding customer service. The AM will be responsible for supervising front and back of house GBC staff, MH housekeepers, MH maintenance staff, filling in for roles as needed at GBC, checking in and out MH hotel guests, managing vendors and contractors as required, and other MH and GBC office duties as needed. You will perform a range of duties including connecting with guests, ensuring 95% customer satisfaction, responding to customer needs, managing staff, and maintaining MH and GBC supplies. As the ‘face’ of MH and GBC, you need to be presentable, caring, and friendly, with outstanding people’s skills. You will need to multitask, provide excellent communication and organizational skills in all duties.
General Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and provide them with superb customer service.
- Respond to all guest concerns and meet their needs.
- Supervise MH and GBC staff to ensure smooth operations and a great guest experience.
- Ensure that all areas are neat, presentable, and equipped with all the necessary supplies.
- Manage vendors and contractors in order to maintain a fully functional complex for guests of MH, GBC, the beer garden, and the office spaces.
- Accept, audit, and store inventory in their appropriate location.
- Track inventory and order supplies.
- Maintain records and files.
Requirements:
- A minimum of two years of proven experience in a similar role.
- Good understanding of office administration.
- Superb written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office programs.
Goals:
- Maintain 95% customer satisfaction.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 6:30 am-3:30 pm and as needed.
