B & B Poultry is seeking an Assistant General Manager / Facilities Manager to support the General Manager in overseeing and cultivating results for the day-to-day plant operations and to provide hands-on leadership to facility and equipment maintenance. The successful candidate for the position of Assistant General Manager / Facilities Manager will work closely with the General Manager to meet production deadlines, exceed customer expectations, and ensure processes and systems are operating efficiently including equipment use and maintenance. B & B Poultry is seeking a loyal, dependable leader to proactively solve problems and guide & develop employees in a fast-paced environment. The Assistant General Manager / Facilities Manager will build and strengthen relationships throughout the company and broader industry.
Assistant General Manager / Facilities Manager Position Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years leadership/management experience, required
- Business operations experience and knowledge, essential
- General knowledge of industrial mechanical, refrigeration, electrical and facility maintenance systems, preferred.
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, required; Understanding of SQL Databases and system troubleshooting, desired
- Associate degree in business administration/related field or equivalent experience, preferred
- Experience in a poultry/meat/food production organization, a plus
- Food safety experience – knowledge of food safety standards & related industry regulations, including Safe Quality Foods (SQF) and Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point (HACCP), desired
