The Denver Location
Set to open in the bustling York Street Yards, this will be Beat The Bomb's 7th location, launching in early 2025. This location features our signature Mission experiences, complete with glass-walled bomb rooms where teams face challenges involving Paint, Foam, and Slime. location offers our classic Mission experiences with glass-walled bomb rooms blasting teams with Paint, Foam and Slime; 4 immersive arcade lounges ('Game Bays'); street food and a full selection of beer, wine, cocktails & signature slushies @ The Bomb Bar; A beer garden with sports viewing options and dedicated private event spaces for large groups make this an ideal venue for entertainment. Assistant General Manager
The Assistant General Manager is the key deputy for the General Manager. They will be responsible for directly managing key areas of the Beat The Bomb business and supporting the General Manager across the board as needed. They will lead on special projects and Programming. In addition to management responsibilities and ownership of special projects, the Assistant General Manager will continue to work shifts as a 'Manager on Duty.'
Responsibilities
- Work up to 3-4 shifts per week as a Manager on Duty, with additional focus on coaching & training, pushing projects forward as time allows and generally supporting GM.
- Lead on weekly scheduling
- Lead on physical inventory management with support from Operations Manager on procurement where applicable
- Support General Manager on recruiting - participating in interviews, etc.
- Support GM on training & onboarding of all new team members with continued assessment and feedback.
- Support building out Beat The Bomb's training program and documentation for ongoing use ahead of future unit openings
- Lead on Programming - special events (pro league), holidays (Halloween), etc.
- Lead onsite facilitation of Arcade Bay testing during opening hours, collaborating with the Game Development team on collecting and tracking customer and operational feedback
- Collaborate with General Manager on ways to improve business performance both in terms of generating sales and controlling costs and finding efficiencies
- Lead or support additional projects as needed
- Space upgrades or additions
- Development & enhancement of photo opportunities
- Process innovation or automation
- Take part in weekly BTB HQ meetings
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years experience (management experience required)
- Management of a facility that includes an F&B component
- Knows the importance of driving exemplary reviews
- Knows the entertainment industry requires nights/weekends work (Saturday is our biggest day and Assistant General Managers should be on site)
- Significant knowledge of and relationships in the local market
- Experience in sales/customer service required
- Experience building and leading a team
- Experience in Microsoft Office products required
- Experience with G-Suite products preferred
- Willingness to travel to other locations
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
