Job Title: Assistant Manager - Dietary Services

This fast-paced role involves overseeing the operations of our dining facilities, retail stores, coffee shops, and vending services within a medical center environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster a culture of outstanding customer service and hospitality
- Ensure adherence to food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards
- Oversee the daily operations of the dining facilities, retail stores, and coffee shops
- Maintain compliance with operational guidelines and procedures
- Manage inventory levels, labor costs, and budgetary controls
- Develop and implement local promotional programs to drive sales
- Supervise and mentor assigned personnel
- Report to and collaborate with the General Manager

Required Qualifications:
- Current Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) credential
- Minimum of 2-3 years of direct management experience in food service or retail operations
- Proven track record in driving sales growth, increasing profitability, and developing teams
- Experience in inventory management, cost control, shrinkage prevention, and P&L management
- Strong problem-solving and business acumen skills
- Hands-on leadership style with a focus on service excellence and hospitality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Experience with Point-of-Sale (POS) systems
- ServSafe certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
- Associate's degree in Business, Hospitality, or Management (preferred but not required)
