A chain of technology-enabled auto repair shops is looking for a rising star to shine as an Assistant General Manager and be on track to be a General Manager within 12 months. You might be an ideal candidate if you are ambitious, tech savvy, and want to better yourself and advance your career.

- Job Type: Full-time
- Salary: $70,000 to $75,000 / year (+ Bonus potential)
- Automotive Industry: 3 - 5+ years Service Manager / Store Manager experience
- Service Writing Experience Required
- Prior management experience preferred
- Prior P&L ownership a major plus
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Sales and Marketing: Understand how each GM is responsible for gross sales, gross margin, and overall store profitability. Learn to track service prices & profitability and adjust accordingly. Spearhead local marketing efforts. Manage and execute policies that support the shop's sales and profitability goals.
Customers: Ensure customer satisfaction and success by working with customers (walk-ins, appointments, text, and by phone) to address their vehicle service needs. Oversee all aspects of customer success & daily logistics, including scheduling, optimization and capacity management.
Personnel: Hire & onboard new personnel, including establishing pay rates and bonus policies. Provide written and regular employee performance feedback and counseling. Regularly review standards of performance with each employee and build a positive and productive work environment.
Vendors / Suppliers / Facilities: Evaluate existing & potential vendors, contractors and service providers. Ensure facility falls within our appearance & operating standard. Adhere to all local regulations, requirements & compliance standards. Oversee opening and closing procedures.
