Here’s a snapshot of what’s involved as an Assistant General Counsel:

• Major Real Estate Transactions

  Lead negotiations for secured and unsecured debt, acquisitions, dispositions, and joint ventures (national and international experience required).

  
  

• Development & Leasing Support

  Collaborate with leasing and development teams on tenant negotiations, design, and project development.

  
  

• Contracts & Negotiations

  Draft and negotiate LOIs, leases (especially complex “big box” and “major” tenant agreements), subleases, amendments, and more.

  
  

• Operational Advice

  Provide counsel on lease and tenant issues, collection activities, and property management matters.

  
  

• Cross-Department Collaboration

  Offer transaction support to tax, finance, and operations teams and oversee paralegals on title, survey, and corporate housekeeping matters.
