Job Overview: We seek a highly organized and experienced Assistant Financial Controller to join our team providing top quality Health Care Services.
The Assistant Financial Controller, needs Strong Billing Experience in Arizona Managed Care SNF Billing and Revenue Cycle Management. Develop Systems and Processes for daily cash management, posting payables/receiveables in real time, weekly and monthly reconciliations, accounts payables processing, accounts receivable processing, cash analyisis and forecasting, financial reporting, auditing, overseeing all financial activities of the company, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations, and providing accurate financial information to management for decision-making purposes.
Responsibilities: - Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department - Ensure timely and accurate preparation of revenue cycle schedule, financial statements, reports, budgets, and cash flow forecasts - Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets - Monitor and analyze financial performance, cash flow projections, variance analysis, and providing insights and recommendations to management
- Manage A/R, A/P, Cash, Financials, Reporting, Banking, Vendors, Filing
- Develop reporting as required
- Coordinate the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors - Ensure compliance with GAAP and other applicable accounting standards - Prepare regulatory reports and filings as required - Perform account analysis and reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data - Oversee general ledger accounting activities, including journal entries and month-end close processes
Skills & Requirements: - College degree (BA or BS) in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Mathematics - 10 years experiance in Skill Nursing Home Healthcare - CPA License (Preferred) - Intermediate level knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, Dynamic Arrays, Dashboards) - Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of GAAP - Excellent financial analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data - Previous experience in public accounting is preferred - Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities - Ability to perform account analysis and reconciliation accurately - Solid understanding of general ledger accounting principles
