Job Summary:
The Assistant Field Operations Manager will support the Field Operations Manager in overseeing daily field activities, coordinating teams, ensuring compliance with company policies, and driving operational efficiency. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
This job is best suited for those who have experience of B2B sales and services to street access retail businesses, solid technical hardware and inventory management skills, and are good at building rapport with SME business owners.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Assisstance in management of the field sales and support teams and current business accounts, help in training and consultation to the small business locations owners;
- Assisstance in development of operational and customer support services, tools, databases and procedures;
- Interaction with sales, accounts collections and technical support teams with a focus on improving overall performance and profitability and operational performance KPI statistics.
Key Duties:
- Assist in overseeing daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in processes.
- Support the Operations Manager in developing and implementing operational strategies.
- Coordinate with different departments to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports for management review.
- Train and mentor staff, providing guidance on best practices and operational procedures.
- Address any operational issues that arise, ensuring timely resolution.
- Participate in budget planning and resource allocation to optimize operational costs.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise field teams to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in field operations, project management, or a similar role.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in MS suite (Excell, Word, etc.).
- Experience working with CRMs.
- Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics evaluation.
- Problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and build strong relationships.
- Familiarity with project management tools and software is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
