Job Summary: We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Assistant DME Office Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support daily office operations, assist with patient and provider interactions, and help ensure efficient processing of DME orders. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Office Manager in daily administrative tasks and operations.
- Handle patient inquiries, providing information and support regarding DME products and services.
- Process DME orders, including verifying insurance information and ensuring timely fulfillment.
- Maintain accurate records of patient files, equipment usage, and inventory levels.
- Support the billing and invoicing process, tracking payments and follow-ups on outstanding accounts.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure smooth order processing and communication.
- Help organize and maintain a welcoming office environment.
- Assist in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a healthcare or DME setting.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance processes is a plus.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with office management software.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
