Assistant Director of Rehab/PTA (ADOR) - Horsham Center for Jewish Life

The Horsham Center for Jewish Life is looking for an Assistant Director of Rehabilitation – PTA to join our wonderful therapy team!

Located in beautiful North Wales, PA, our facility contains 270 long-term care beds, 54 short-term rehabilitation beds, and 48 apartments in our personal care unit.

Job Type: Full Time

Weekend rotation is required.

The Full Time Assistant Director of Rehab (ADOR) will fulfill the needs of a PTA to provide comprehensive treatment to patients under supervision of a therapist according to state practice guidelines. The ADOR will work with the interdisciplinary team to improve resident quality of life by providing optimal care and address care plans. The ADOR will assist the Director of Rehab with various tasks.

Assistant Director of Rehab  Job Responsibilities:

• Assist DOR in managing and supervising rehabilitation department
• Ensuring compliance with regulations and clinical policies
• Overseeing clinic therapists and assistants
• Establishing guidelines and procedures for therapy services
• Supervising, orienting, training, and counseling department employees
• Works under the leadership of our Director of Rehabilitation.

Education/Experience

• Must be a graduate of an accredited college with an A.S. in Physical Therapist Assistant that APTA recognizes.
• Must provide current license and/or registration as Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Experience with the geriatric population is preferred.
