Majestic Care’s Assistant Director of Nursing is responsible for assisting in the organization and execution of nursing operations of the facility. Other duties may include, but not limited to:
-Reports to the Director of Nursing and Executive Director on a regular basis to provide information on management and clinical operation of the facility.
-Remains informed of federal, state and local regulations which are pertinent to the operation of residential health care facilities.
The ideal candidate will:
Hold a Valid Registered Nurse license in the State of Indiana
In coordination with the Director of Nursing Services (DNS), develop, communicate, and maintain nursing policies and procedures.
Assist in establishing criteria and monitoring performance to assure that services provided meet established standards of quality care.
Assist the Executive Director and DNS with overseeing and evaluating all nursing personnel (registered nurses, LPN etc.)
Help coordinate nursing/nurse aide schedules and guide staffing procedures
Help carry out objectives and long-term goals for the nursing department
Enforce policies aiming for legal compliance and high-quality standards
Collaborate with other departments and professionals to streamline operations
