Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing to join our leadership team. The ideal candidate is a Registered Nurse who is passionate about providing high-quality care to seniors and is eager to take on a leadership role. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing in managing day-to-day nursing operations.
- Provide leadership and support to the nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of exceptional care to residents.
- Assist in the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular assessments of resident care plans and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Oversee staff training programs and facilitate ongoing education for nursing personnel.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting effective communication and teamwork.
- Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and retention of nursing staff.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to best practices in senior care.
- Actively engage with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to address concerns and enhance the overall resident experience.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Perform other duties, tasks and/or projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license in the state of Minnesota.
- Previous experience in long-term care or a similar healthcare setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Commitment to providing compassionate and person-centered care.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
- Willingness to undergo training and professional development.
