RegalCare at Courtyard is a leading skilled nursing facility dedicated to providing the highest standard of care to our residents. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) in overseeing the nursing department's daily operations.
- Supervise nursing staff, ensuring compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Support the development and implementation of nursing care plans and ensure the quality of care provided to residents.
- Participate in the recruitment, training, and evaluation of nursing staff.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident care and address any issues or concerns.
- Assist in developing and monitoring nursing budgets and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to nursing care.
- Serve as a leader and mentor within the nursing department, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid RN license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Previous nursing management experience is required, preferably in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff, residents, and families.
- In-depth knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and regulations.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to residents.
