Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Key Responsibilities
- Ensures nursing staff is providing quality and appropriate resident care that meets or exceeds company and regulatory standards.
- Recruits, hires, provides orientation/training, and retains a sufficient number of qualified staff to carry out nursing programs and services. Ensures employee performance meets or exceeds expectations.
- Develops and implements the written staffing plan and nursing schedule that reflects the needs of the resident and resident population.
- Evaluates market studies and develops clinical programs to meet the needs of the community.
- Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.
- Manages clinical aspects of state or federal government survey processes.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Pennsylvania
- Three to five (3-5) years of management or supervisory experience in long-term care, acute care, restorative or geriatric nursing preferred.
- Knowledge of Point Click Care software program a plus

Qualifications:
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
- CPR Certification
- Experience is preferred in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing.
- Must posses a compassionate and caring demeanor
