Assistant Director of Nursing - Putnam Ridge

Putnam Ridge is a 160 bed Skilled Nursing Facility located in Brewster, NY.   We are currently looking for a Registered Nurse to assist the DON in her responsibilities for total care and management of the Nursing Department. 

Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in day-to-day administrative functions
• Make written or oral reports to necessary personnel
• Monitor and maintain the infection control procedures and policies of the facility
• Review and revise care plans and assessments
• Make rounds of the nursing units to ensure that all nursing personnel are performing their work duties
• Maintain a liaison with the residents, their families, support departments, etc.

Assistant Director of Nursing Requirements

• Valid NYS RN license
• COVID-19 Vaccination
• Infection Prevention certification (a plus)
