Position Summary:

The primary purpose of the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) is to support the planning, organization, development, and management of the daily functions of the Nursing Department. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, promoting the highest standards of quality care for our residents.

Essential Duties:

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the daily operations of the nursing department in accordance with relevant regulations and guidelines for long-term care facilities.
• Coordinate nursing services with other departments to maintain a seamless continuum of care for residents.
• Perform administrative tasks, including completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, and charting.
• Ensure adequate staffing of licensed practical and/or registered nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, medications, and safety equipment for each shift to maintain high-quality care standards.

Qualifications:

• Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must have a current, unencumbered Illinois RN license.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory healthcare role is preferred.
