Long-Term Healthcare Facility -
Assistant Director of Nursing (ADNS) Needed with experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities!
Typical Schedule: Day shifts, Monday - Friday

Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight and direction to clinical team
- Make rounds with physicians, as necessary
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, family members, staff and medical team
- Review care plans daily to confirm that appropriate care is being rendered
- Monitor residents' conditions and report accordingly
- Other special projects and duties, as assigned
To join this team please have the following requirements:
- Primary series of the COVID Vaccine Required (or new bivalent COVID Vaccine or medical exemption)
- Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in Rhode Island
- Nursing degree from an accredited college or university preferred
- Five (5) or more years of nursing experience required;
- Three (3) years or more years of experience as a unit manager/supervisor in a nursing care center, hospital or other related health care center on a subacute unit
- Must have experience in supervision and principles, practice of teaching, etc.
- Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices strongly preferred
- Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served
- Must be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of team work and team concept
- Strong communication skills with the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public
- Must be available for rotating on-call schedule with other nursing leadership team
- Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to skilled nursing care facilities
