Activity Director Job Summary:
The Activity Director is responsible for creating and implementing a variety of activities that cater to the interests and well-being of residents, based on comprehensive assessments.
Essential Duties:
- Plan and develop group social, spiritual, creative, educational, and exercise activities.
- Oversee Activity Aides.
- Review resident goals and document progress in MDS reports.
- Build relationships with family members and community partners to support the Activity department.

Preferred Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent, completion of an Activity Director training course, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a social or recreational program in a nursing facility.
