Assistant Director Of Nursing (ADON) - Confidential - Skilled Nursing Facility

A Skilled Nursing Facility is hiring a Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in Rockland County, NY.

DUTIES:

• Assist in managing and maintaining high-quality care services
• Lead weekly Wound/Skin Rounds
• Support compliance efforts and ensure effective communication with nursing staff at all levels
• Address the nursing medical needs of all residents
• Be available 24/7 on call
• Oversee the planning and coordination of nursing services
• Maintain a solid understanding of general nursing theory and practice
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of medical records
• Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and orientation of new nursing staff
• Supervise and manage daily staffing needs
• Assist with infection control efforts
• Remain flexible with work hours to accommodate unforeseen needs

REQUIREMENTS:

• Current RN license in the state
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in long-term care settings
• At least 2 years of management experience preferred
• 1 year of experience in staff education preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills
• Flexibility in scheduling required
