Our client, a well-established company in the healthcare industry is seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for their skilled nursing facility (SNF) in Houston, TX.

To qualify for this position, you must:

• Be a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with the state of Texas (required)
• You should have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in skilled nursing
• Background as a charge nurse or floor nurse.
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing home regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to residents

Work Hours: This is a full-time position with flexible shifts available: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing the nursing department and ensuring the highest quality of care for the residents
• Participate in the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures
• Mentor and lead nursing staff, providing guidance and support to improve patient care
• Monitor patient care for quality assurance and address any issues that arise
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive resident care
