About the Job
As the Assistant Director of Marketing at PLC Detroit, you will play a pivotal role in executing innovative marketing strategies that elevate our brand and inspire prospective students. Your creative expertise will be instrumental in attracting, introducing, and encouraging talented individuals to apply to PLC programming.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with both the brand marketing and education marketing teams, serving as a vital link to ensure cohesive messaging and strategy implementation
- Interface and manage external partner relationships with the goal of coordinating the execution of marketing deliverables.
- Assist in the planning and execution of digital marketing initiatives, including email marketing, social media, and online advertising.
- Coordinate the production of marketing materials, such as brochures, flyers, and promotional content
- Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for optimization
- Manage and update the class schedules on the company website
- Assist in the organization and execution of events, school visits, and promotional activities.
- Collaborate with external partners, agencies, and vendors to support marketing efforts and adhere to a standard of excellence regarding our education approach
- Maintain a marketing calendar and ensure all activities are carried out on time and within budget
- Assist in market research to identify trends and opportunities
- Support the development of marketing reports and presentations for senior management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- 5 years of relevant marketing experience (internship experience will be considered)
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management and email marketing
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented, highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Creative mindset with a passion for marketing and branding
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing software
Familiarity with SEO, Google Analytics, Asana and HubSpot (or similar platforms) are a plus.
Professional business acumen is a must!
Salary Range: Salary Range: $72,000–$105,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and the specific skills brought to the role. The final salary offer will be determined based on the selected candidate's qualifications and the company's compensation guidelines.
