Job Details
Job Summary:
- Work with Opera, Birchstreet, and other systems
- Act as a key financial leader within the hotel. This role involves implementing strategies to meet or exceed guest expectations and drive financial performance. The Assistant Director assists in executing the annual budget, ensuring alignment with business strategies, and delivering financial results. They provide leadership and manage activities to support the hotel's mission, values, and goals.
Job Details:
- Audit invoices against purchase orders.
- Maintain and use office equipment, property management systems, and adhere to company policies.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reviews.
- Analyze financial data, market trends, and ensure timely corrective actions.
- Supervise month-end account reconciliations and payroll accuracy.
- Monitor labor productivity and ensure compliance with financial controls.
- Support internal and external audit processes and resolve billing and inventory issues.
- Lead and Manage Staff Accountants and Clerks
Requirements:
- MUST have Hotel/Hospitality Accounting/Finance Experience - Opera
- Degree in accounting, business, or a related field.
- Preferred: 3+ years in accounting/finance and relevant work experience.
