Assistant Director of Admissions-Full Time
Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation, located in New Hyde Park, NY, is seeking a full time Assistant Director of Admissions to join our Admissions team to serve as a subject matter expert, acting as the single point of decision making for patient Admissions.
This position is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse or Social Worker to administer policies in relation to Admissions, assist with directing the Admissions team on a day-to-day basis, and develop and manage goals, objectives, and marketing initiatives.
The Assistant Director of Admissions will play a key role by having the responsibility and accountability for the Admissions department and oversee daily operations of Admissions for the skilled nursing facility (SNF).

Position Requirements
Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in NYS or NYS Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Experience in a hospital setting and/or skilled nursing required
Experience with admissions, discharge planning and case management
Ability to work independently and with a team across a variety of disciplines
- Strong clinical assessment skills
Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
