About the Job
Major/Essential Functions
- Provides strategic planning support and program evaluation. This encompasses the continual development and enhancement of policies and protocols governing global health programs and initiatives
- Develops and implements activities and programs, both co-curricular and extra- curricular, aimed at promoting and raising awareness of global health issues and trends.
- Directs all financial activities within the department.
- Aids in providing guidance and support to TTUHSC students through global health education programs and initiatives.
- Fosters collaboration between the OGH and other TTUHSC departments, schools, and institutes.
- Oversees all contract and agreement management, including with international partners.
- Provides general administrative support.

Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of a Master's degree in Public Health, Global Health, International Relations, Health Care Management or related field.
- Demonstrated experience in building and managing collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience with grant writing and budget management.
- Experience working in an academic setting.
- Experience working independently and as part of a team.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in the area of specialization or closely related field. Three years of related administrative and technical experience. Additional job related education may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
