Job Description:
The Assistant Director of Transportation & Conference Services maintains the schedule for the College fleet vehicles which include 18 vans/cars and 1 bus. This position is responsible for working closely with the Siena community to schedule all vehicle and bus requests, confirming each trip as they approach. The Assistant Director oversees 8 bus drivers and multiple student worker(s). This individual must schedule and later create an itinerary debriefing the driver as bus trips approach. This position is also responsible for scheduling all maintenance and repairs for all the fleet vehicles. The Assistant Director must continuously enforce college policy, making sure that all employee and student drivers have completed the appropriate paperwork and a DMV check has been performed. This individual will have a college phone provided to them in case of emergencies such as accidents or roadside assistance needs.
The Assistant Director is also responsible for the day to day scheduling for internal and external events (not including academic camps) and helps the Director with outside conferences. All internal events must be confirmed by the Assistant Director as they are responsible for maintaining a schedule of each building in the EMS scheduling system. This position must work collaboratively with the Events department, Athletics, the Registrar, and AVI to makes sure all aspects of event planning for internal events have been completed by the department hosting the event. The Assistant Director acts as functional administrator for the EMS program and is responsible for testing, troubleshoot and maintaining aspects of the program. This individual is responsible for the room scheduling and logistics, as a result some nights and weekends are required when an outside conference is occurring.
Annual salary: $59,500.00*

Job Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree and three or more years of relevant experience are required. Knowledge of transportation, scheduling, proven customer service, communications skills and general office programs including Microsoft Excel and Word are required. A background screening will be required.
