Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the financial aid office, including application processing, award disbursement, and student counseling.
- Oversee the administration of Title IV aid programs, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, including Pell Grants, Direct Loans, and Federal Work-Study.
- Provide guidance and support to students and families regarding financial aid options, eligibility requirements, and application procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement strategies for maximizing financial aid resources and supporting student retention and success.
- Supervise and mentor financial aid staff, providing training, performance evaluations, and professional development opportunities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial aid transactions, reports, and documentation for auditing purposes.
- Stay informed about changes in financial aid regulations, policies, and best practices, and implement necessary updates to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Assist with the development and execution of outreach initiatives, workshops, and presentations to promote financial literacy and awareness among students and the campus community.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial aid administration, preferably in a higher education setting.
- Supervisory experience, with demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a team.
- In-depth knowledge of Title IV aid programs, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with students, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in financial aid management systems and software, including experience with Ellucian Colleague or similar platforms.

Salary
$50000 - $60000 per annum
