SUMMARY OF JOB:Under the direction of the Director of Nursing working in conjunction with members of the management team provides support to the DON in planning, coordinating, and directing the operation and management for the skilled nursing departments and short stay for the LifeCare facility. The position requires the use of independent judgment in the facility’s day-to-day operations in accordance with the goals and objectives of the LifeCare Division, regulatory and legal aspects in the Long term care industry, the Sisters of the Holy Redeemer and Holy Redeemer Health System.

RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS:
3-5 years of administrative and management experience in a long term care facility.
RN, BSN
Ability to develop, implement and coordinate new programs and services.
Ability to analyze and problem-solve is essential.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work and communicate effectively.
Ability to support and promote, in a positive manner, the mission, goals and objectives of the Holy Redeemer Health System.
Ability to function in a changing healthcare environment.
Knowledge of regulatory and legal requirements.
LICENSE AND REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS:
Current Nursing License
