As the Assistant Controller, you will play a vital role in supporting the financial operations of our organization. You will work closely with the Controller and finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting, efficient processes, and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Duties:
Financial Reporting: Support the creation of precise and punctual financial statements, encompassing balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Collaborate with the Controller to evaluate financial data and deliver insightful reports for management assessment.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Aid in the budgeting and forecasting procedure by gathering pertinent data, analyzing patterns, and assisting in forming financial projections. Supervise budget performance and offer variance analysis to detect areas of concern or enhancement.
General Ledger Management: Keep and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring the precision and comprehensiveness of financial records. Assist in the closure of month-end and year-end, comprising journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
Internal Controls and Compliance: Participate in developing and executing internal control practices to safeguard company assets and assure adherence to financial regulations. Engage in audits and collaborate with external auditors to furnish required documentation and assistance.
Financial Analysis: Conduct financial examination to facilitate decision-making processes and pinpoint opportunities for cost savings and process enhancements. Assist in financial research, trend analysis, and preparation of ad hoc reports for management, as requested.
Process Enhancement: Recognize areas for refining procedures within the finance department and contribute to implementing best practices. Optimize financial procedures to improve efficiency, precision, and data integrity.
Team Collaboration: Work in synergy with cross-functional teams, encompassing finance, accounting, and other departments, to guarantee smooth coordination and prompt completion of tasks. Provide guidance and support to junior members of the finance team when necessary.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA designation is highly desirable.
Demonstrated experience in a comparable role, such as Assistant Controller, Senior Accountant, or Financial Analyst.
Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting standards (GAAP/IFRS), and internal controls.
Competence in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting methods.
Advanced skills in Excel and experience with financial software and ERP systems.
Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Capability to work independently, meet deadlines, and efficiently prioritize multiple tasks.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with team members at all levels.
