We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Controller to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the Controller in managing the financial reporting, accounting operations, and compliance functions of the company. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analysis on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Support the Controller in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve efficiencies.
- Participate in the implementation of accounting software upgrades and enhancements.
- Assist in the preparation for audits and tax filings, including providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA certification preferred.
- 6+ years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
