Assistant Controller - Texas Health Care PLLC

POSITION SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

This position works under the direct supervision of the Financial Controller. The Assistant Controller is responsible for many aspects of the financial/accounting department. These functions include but are not limited to administration of all accounting activities such as financial statement preparation/reporting, payroll and accounts payable oversight, policies and procedures, internal controls, analysis, software enhancements, adherence to purchasing contracts.

EDUCATION AND JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• CPA Required.
• At minimum, 6 years of fiscal management/accounting experience including General Ledger Journal Entries and Month End Closing processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours to meet organization needs.
• Ability to uphold strictest confidentially.
