We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Controller to join our dynamic team in the Construction industry. This role is specifically tailored, providing an exciting opportunity to apply your financial skills in a technologically advanced and growing environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, general ledger entries, year-end close, and financial statements.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in the construction industry.
3. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
4. Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, general ledger entries, year-end close, and financial statements.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to communicate complex financial data to non-financial colleagues.
