We are currently looking for a fulltime Assistant to the Community Manager who will be passionate about working with the residents of a highly amenitized, 360 space, Age Qualified (55+) Manufactured Housing Community in Irvine, CA.

We are currently looking for a fulltime Assistant to the Community Manager who will be passionate about working with the residents of a highly amenitized, 360 space, Age Qualified (55+) Manufactured Housing Community in Irvine, CA.
Day-to-day tasks may include, but are not limited to, working under the direction of the Community Manager to:
- Ensure a clean, safe, and code-compliant environment.
- Uphold and value every resident’s right to peaceful enjoyment of their homesite and the community.
- Collaborate with the HOA and community representatives to facilitate effective communication and to enhance resident oriented events.
- Collect and deposit rent payments and perform all related data entry and bookkeeping tasks.
- Control expenditures by staying within the constraints of the approved budget and manage a petty cash fund.
- Process applications for tenancy and facilitate a seamless move-in/move-out process.
- Prepare tenancy contracts and corresponding documents and present them for signing.
- Perform routine inspections and take corrective action for deficiencies.
- Handle resident complaints with urgency and empathy.
- Recognize and address maintenance needs.
- Solicit third-party contractor bids and oversee third-party projects.
- Effectively respond to urgent/emergency situations that sometimes occur outside of normal business hours.
- Provide full office coverage during the Community Manager’s planned and unplanned absences.
- Other unspecified reasonable tasks as assigned by a supervisor to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the community.
Desired skills & experience:
- Minimum five years’ experience with customer relations oriented positions.
- Minimum two years' MHC property management experience preferably in an age-qualified community.
- Working knowledge of Fair Housing Laws, the MRL, and Title 25.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Highly proficient in Office365 with emphasis on Excel and Outlook.
- Knowledge of Rent Manager software preferred.
Compensation:
- $25-$27 per hour.
- A comprehensive benefits package after successful completion of an introductory period.
- Eligibility to participate in an annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.
